About The Editors

My name is Nikki and I've been writing and editing for over ten years. I have a Bachelor's in Literature and Creative Writing and I have experience in work shopping and revising all sorts of writing--from poems and essays to full-length novels.

I am also an independent author. My first book, Sunshine has been featured on Amazon Bestseller lists since it was released on January 28, 2013. I learned a lot through publishing independently, one of them being that you need a good editor and a good editor that you trust with your work. I know how daunting the task of finding an editor is for even the most experienced of us, and I decided a while ago that I wanted to make the process easier for fellow writers.

Although I love writing more than anything, many people are shocked to discover that revision is my favorite part of the process. I love being the first to read something new, give my input, and try to make it even better than it already is.

The goal of this little company is to ensure that editors and writers stick together--you can't have a completely cohesive piece without each other. I don't want to just be your editor, I want to be part of your support system and part of your writing career!

I am pretty much an open book and you can ask me anything you want to know. I look forward to working with some of you. : )

My name is Amanda and I've been writing and reading since I can remember. I couldn't imagine doing anything else with my life, honestly. I have a BA in Literature and I've wanted to become an editor for quite some time--I realized that I wanted to make my living from reading! I love the experience of reading new things and being able to put my hard work into them to make them better. There's something special about knowing that I'm a part of the process that helped bring a book, whether prose or poetry, to life!

Nikki and I have been reading each other's writing for a few years now. I'm so happy that she enjoys that process as much as I do and I'm even happier that she wanted me to help her with this service! I'm thrilled to be working with her doing something we both feel so strongly about.I completely agree with Nikki's stance--that writers and editors should build a relationship with each other, not just a one time deal. In fact, it's super exciting to know I've been a part of a new author's progression or helped a veteran author further their career! So I'm here to answer any questions that you might have and I can't wait to work with you!

Amanda
